Greetings fellow sculptors! A number of exciting programs are planned for the October 2002 gathering of Philadelphia Sculptors and Tri-State Sculptors Guild in Philadelphia. The technology in the arts activities will be supported by a grant from Verizon Communications, secured by Leslie Kaufman of Philadelphia Sculptors. Our keynote speaker, Lily Yeh, is an internationally celebrated artist and award winning Executive Director of the Village of Arts and Humanities in North Philadelphia.

Michael Taylor, Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art will give a presentation on Philadelphia’s thriving arts community and outstanding museums and galleries. There will also be panels and discussion sessions which will encourage the exchange of information and ideas.

Sessions will take place at both Moore College of Art and Design and University of the Arts, both in Center City Philadelphia.

A reduced conference fee rate of $60 will be available for early registration (by August 1) and some of the significant dates related to the indoor exhibit are:
Slides due- June 15 / Installation- October 6 / Deinstallation -October 25.
